How to choose a photography drone
- Sensor size: bigger sensors handle low light and contrast better. The Lito 1 uses a 1/2-inch sensor; the Lito X1, Flip and Avata 2 use 1/1.3-inch; the Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S use 1-inch; the Mavic 4 Pro uses a 4/3 Hasselblad.
- Focal lengths: the DJI Air 3S adds a 70 mm tele camera, and the DJI Mavic 4 Pro adds both 70 mm and 168 mm.
- Shooting style: the Flip and Neo launch from your palm for vlogs; the Avata 2 and Avata 360 are for FPV and 360° footage. Compare them in the DJI Avata series.
- Budget: from ₹47,990 (Neo) to ₹3,79,990 (Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo). For a first camera drone, start with drones under ₹1 lakh; for a 1-inch sensor, see drones under ₹1.5 lakh.

Which photography drone is best for beginners?
The DJI Lito X1 or Mini 4 Pro: both weigh 250 g or less and sense obstacles in every direction, which makes learning safer.
Can I use a drone for weddings and paid shoots?
Yes. Every drone must be registered on Digital Sky, and drones above 250 g need a Remote Pilot Certificate for commercial flying. Check the airspace map on Digital Sky before each shoot.
What warranty do I get?
Every DJI drone carries a 1-year warranty from HobiTech itself. Remote controllers are accessories and are not covered.
How fast is delivery?
Free DTDC shipping. Orders are usually dispatched within 3 days and arrive 2–3 days later.
