DJI Avata Series
DJI's Avata series is built for FPV: fast, close-in flying, with propeller guards that make it safer to fly near people and indoors. HobiTech stocks three kits. The Avata 2 Fly More Combo comes with DJI Goggles 3 and the RC Motion 3 for first-person flying with hand-motion control; it films 4K/60fps with a 155° super-wide view. The Avata 360 films 8K/60fps 360° video with two 64 MP sensors, so you fly once and choose the framing afterwards, and adds omnidirectional obstacle sensing with forward LiDAR. Its Fly More Combo uses the DJI RC 2 controller, while the Motion Fly More Combo swaps that for DJI Goggles N3 and the RC Motion 3. The Avata 2 weighs about 377 g and the Avata 360 about 455 g, so both are micro drones in India. Every order ships free from Bengaluru with a GST invoice and a 1-year HobiTech warranty on the drone.
How to choose a DJI Avata
- Classic FPV: the Avata 2 Fly More Combo is the pick if you want to fly through goggles from day one, with three batteries and a two-way charging hub.
- 360° capture: the Avata 360 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) lets you fly with a normal screen controller and reframe the 360° footage later — a gentler start for creators new to FPV.
- 360° plus goggles: the Avata 360 Motion Fly More Combo pairs the 360° camera with DJI Goggles N3 and the RC Motion 3.
- Lighter option: for palm-sized FPV under 250 g, see the DJI Neo series Motion combos.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence to fly an Avata?
Both models are micro drones in India, so they must be registered on Digital Sky, and a Remote Pilot Certificate is needed for commercial flying. Check the current rules before you fly.
Is FPV hard to learn?
The RC Motion 3 lets you steer by moving your hand instead of using sticks, and the Avata 360 with the DJI RC 2 flies like a regular drone with a screen controller.
What warranty do I get?
HobiTech's own 1-year warranty on the drone, with a GST invoice. Remote controllers are accessories and are not covered.
How fast is delivery?
Orders usually dispatch within 3 days and arrive 2–3 days later by DTDC, with free shipping.
